North Carolina’s own ConRizzle returns with the follow up to his 2011 release, CranGrape & White Girls. This record, with features from Nickelus F, Michael Millions, Suburban District, Mr. Ivory Snow and more, showcases on older, more mature ConRizzle. After one listen, I loved every record on the album. My favorite is probably either “Amnesia”, “Numb”, or “Raw”. This is a project you need to get if you want raw, uncut energy from a great underground artist.

This record is amazing. All these kids ae about my age and representing their hometown on Brooklyn, NY in the greatest way. With a sound that reminds me of a more soul-based N.E.R.D., and three very talented MCs (DyMe-A-DuZin, Sheriff PJ & LB3), Phony Ppl has made a project full of 13 feel-good tracks.
